PROTOCOL FOR APPOINTMENT OF NEUTRALS

1. Introduction

This Protocol sets out the guiding rules and procedures for the appointment, conduct, and potential replacement of Neutrals—Arbitrators, Mediator—on the Jupitice Digital Justice Platform. It ensures that every appointment is conducted with fairness, transparency, and integrity, upholding the highest standards of independence, digital governance, and ethical responsibility.

Our mission is to build trust in digital dispute resolution by empowering all parties with a clear, consistent, and accountable appointment process.

2. Scope & Applicability

This Protocol applies to:

  • All proceedings initiated via the Jupitice Platform;
  • All parties involved in disputes, whether individuals, companies, institutions, or governments;
  • All forms of alternate dispute resolution (ADR), including arbitration, mediation, conciliation, and adjudication;
  • Appointments initiated by the parties or by Jupitice as the administrative authority.

3. Core Principles of Appointment

3.1 Neutrality & Independence

Neutrals must act without bias, prejudice, or any conflict of interest. Before assuming a case, every neutral is required to submit a Declaration of Independence and Impartiality, affirming their objectivity.

All neutrals must demonstrate relevant professional qualifications, subject-matter expertise
